2009-2010 TMEA HS Region 17 Audition Cuts:

This music is for auditioning into the TMEA HS Symphony Orchestra.  Students who wish to audition/record for placement in a TMEA All-State organization must audition for the TMEA HS Symphony, not the philharmonic.  Please note that students auditioning for TMEA All-State will need to learn both etudes entirely in addition to several orchestra excerpts to be released in July.

The following music is for auditioning into the Region HS String Orchestra.  Students who wish to audition for placement into a TMEA All-State Organization must audition for the TMEA HS Symphony as part of the process.

2009-2010 TMEA Audition/Recording/Clinic/Concert Dates:

October 17, 2009:  HS String Auditions: 9:00 a.m. - Westbrook Int. (Clear Creek ISD)

October 17, 2009:  HS Full (TMEA) Auditions: 1:00 p.m. - Westbrook Int. (Clear Creek ISD)

October 24, 2009: JH/MS String Auditions: 10: a.m. - Lake Jackson Int. (Brazosport ISD)

 

October 31, 2009: HS TMEA All-State Taping: Begins @ 9:00 a.m. - Clear Lake HS Main (Clear Creek ISD)

Students recording or auditioning to record will be give time slots in which they must arrive.  Students who do not arrive during their audition time slot may lose their opportunity to record or be placed on standby.

 

January 22, 2010:  Region Clinic Rehearsals: Time: TBA - Clear Brook HS (Clear Creek ISD)

January 23, 2010:  Region Clinic/Performance: Time: TBA - Brazosport HSD (Brazosport ISD)

Region MS/JH Concert - 5:00 p.m.  ::  High School String Orchestra Concert - 5:45 p.m. ::

TMEA High School Full Orchestra Concert - 6:30 p.m.
